Use the cable supplied with the camera.

You must charge the unit before using , plug the USB into your computer and then into the key chain camera, the indicator will light yellow when charging

To turn on press and hold the on off button (this is the triangle shaped button) till the yellow light comes on.
Then press and hold the the Video button till it flashes 3 times then it is recording.
To stop and save the recording press the video button once (you must do this to save the video , if you turn it off without stopping it will not save the video).
You then may turn the unit off by pressing on off once.

To Take Pictures
To turn on press and hold the on off button (this is the triangle shaped button) till the yellow light comes on.
then just push the Video Camera button once the light will flash once and it will have saved the picture
You then may turn the unit off by pressing on off once.

Time on Screen:

Remove the time by making a file in notepad called time.txt

and type in - 2009.01.01 00.00.00 N

to set time type in - 2011.05.11 00.00.00 Y this sets the date for 5-11-2011 the last six digits sets the time

Camera Tips By FS :

First, the micro card goes into the slot with the contact bars facing up and make sure that you are putting it into the slot so that the card goes in slight towards the top. You'll know its correct when you have to push the card in to "take" just like you do for the cards in your camera or on the slots of your computer. Be careful about putting it into the slot. It can be forced below the correct point and then you have to undo the 2 micro screws, separate the two halves carefully enough to grasp the card with tweezers and not damage any of the wires or circuit boards. Hopefully, these instructions will help prevent that.

Second, forget the ChiEnglish instructions and do this to make it work.

First charge it with the plug provided and wait an hour. The light will blink while charging and will stay on when fully charged.

Then install the card correctly and press the triangle button on the top right below the video and camera button.

Hold it long enough to have the light come on.

Now you can take a photo by pressing the cam/vid button once. The light will come back on. Take another photo the same way. Do not hold the button down. Just press it normally. When done taking photos press the on/off button to close it down and remove card to the computer to download.

For video, the process is the same except after you hold the on/off button for the light to come on, you hold the cam/vid button until it flashes 3 times. The light will go off but you are now recording. When finished, press the cam/vid button once and then press the on/off button once. Remove the card to down load to your computer.
